Organized Events: We have a selection of diverse events and activities for you to participate in before, during, and after the conference. In the coming months, more information will be added including how you can register for each of these.
A day trip to Whistler and Squamish: Visit the village of Whistler, home of the 2010 Winter Olympics downhill skiing events. Visit the shops that line the centre of the village along with a tour at the Squamish First Nation Cultural Centre. Take a gondola ride up the mountains, visit Shannon Falls, and hike amongst the trees.
Visit Deep Cove in North Vancouver: Enjoy the day walking around beautiful Deep Cove. Take a kayak out into Canada’s southernmost fjord or walk amongst the gift shops and eateries.
Enjoy historic Steveston: Visit the fishing village of Steveston and possibly take a boat out whale watching. There is also plenty more to see amongst the eclectic shops and cafés lining the streets including the historic Britannia Shipyards, London Heritage Farms, and the Gulf of Georgia Cannery.
Sample our local wine and craft beer: Take a wine or craft beer tour and enjoy the fruits of their labours.
